Biscardi CanyonWhen we last reported, the team was camped out in the area that the locals had named "Biscardi Canyon". The weather was turning cold and we had still not seen any sign of the creature that had given us the "toe nail" that has created such a stir in the academic world. The team was determined to stay as long as was possible to try and attempt a live capture of our friend. Unfortunately, as the weather got colder and it began to snow.. the team was forced down the mountain to the nearest town for much needed supplies. While they were there, a heavy snow storm passed through and dropped as much as five feet of snow. It was unsafe and nearly impossible to get back up the mountain. Here it is almost six weeks later and the team is finially able to make it back up the hill to see what we can find. The following are just a few of the pictures from that short foray back up the mountain! The canyon just before we left... and the canyon when we finially made it back When we left.... and when we got back up the mountain! We also found some signs that would indicate that our "friend" was back while we were in town... These are the photos that the Alex Hearn sent back to me when he finially made it back up the mountain: ![]() The tracks went on for some 500-600 yards they were 7 ft apart and in a straight line. There was no deviation to the left or right, like you would have with a 4 legged animal. The tracks were 24 inches long and some 12 inches wide! The tracks went up to the peak and over, on the other side of the peak was sunshine and there was no snow so the track could not be followed. The next morning Larry followed the tracks in the other direction; from where they came. Same thing happened, he followed them for about 700 yards and they ended when he crossed over the peak of the hill? As the sunshine had not let the snow cover build up on that side of the peak. Right before the edge of Larry's property, the tracks were joined by a 2nd set of tracks that were identical, but smaller. STAY TUNED FOR MORE AS IT HAPPENS!
