See what happens when a Country Music Super Star has a bigfoot sighting in his home town!

Kris Allen was born and raised in the small town of New Braunfels, Texas. For half of his life he lived in Hernshaw, West Virginia. His music is a captivating mix of high energy and soulful country/southern rock. He was inspired by legends such as Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. Keith Whitley and Lynard Skynard are the biggest influences on his style. Currently finished with four albums, Kris writes many of the songs and music that he performs. He also plays guitar for some of the tracks. His music has received worldwide attention, topping the charts on the world, U.S. and Nashville charts consecutively for months on MP3.com. There are also many radio stations, internet, FM and XM that play his music. Some of these are "The Wave" in Oshawa,Ontario Canada, MCWC Country Radio in Mora,Sweden and recently Bill Mack's "The Open Road" and the Dave Nemo show on satellite radio. (XM) He has developed fans in many countries.

Here in Kris's own words is his story and why he first contacted Tom Biscardi and the Searching for Bigfoot team:
I heard of Tom and the crew on a TV show and I thought to myself "Man, who is this guy!" I found Tom's website and phone number right there. I waisted no time in calling him to tell him about my lifetime quest upon finding this creature. I have seen six of them to date but at that time, only five. Never the less, I wanted to share with him what I had seen.

When I was a boy my whole family was out in the yard looking at this ape like creature just sitting at the top of a large tree out back. The fact is it sat there for several hours just before it got dark, not bothering anyone. Back then not many people had cameras when I was a small child. The next morning I looked out and it was gone. The years of childhood had come and passed without ever seeing anything ever like that again for many years.

Then as I was walking up Dunlap Hollow some 14 years later with a girlfriend. There it was! This was the mother of all apes, my GOD it was large! It was just sitting right there against a tree looking at me face to face!
I turned to get my girlfriend to see it and it was gone! Those few seconds that I looked eye to eye have never been forgotten!

What did I just see? I asked my friends and they all laughed at me... saying things like; "You saw a Monkey, HA you'er crazy!".

It seemed as if no body believed me, and I felt hurt because I know that I looked eye to eye at this ape like creature and it was huge! I just did not know what it was or what it could be at that time in my life.

This was when I started looking on the internet, library, and TV. I looked everywhere and finally I found a picture that looked like it. I saw it on Loren Coleman's photo with a Giganto Pythicous. I had seen the same ape like creature as in his photo and I could not wait to show everyone!

Boy that was a big mistake, still no one wanted to believe what I had seen, no one!

Now may I remind you that I loved camping year round, winter or summer, I did not care and after seeing this I REALLY WENT CAMPING YEAR ROUND! I wanted to find this creature now named bigfoot! I looked everywhere but not a clue what to look for but I knew I would someday find this thing.

The years past by way too fast and eventually, I did see this thing again but this time I wasn't alone!

My son and I were camping in the fall, at this time he was eight years old. We were camping at a lake up in the Wild-N-Wonderful mountains of Eastern West Virginia at a place called Sherwood Lake. It was a beautiful full moon night out by the lake on a trail that we were hiking on. There we heard this noise like a deer would make rackinhg his antlers. We looked over by the marsh and there were two large soild black ape like creatures ripping apart some trees. It looked as if they were eating the bark? We stood there as if in shock, not sure what it was at first. So we sat there for what seemed like forever in the cool night air just watching them rip the trees apart and eating from it.

They were about eight to ten feet, one smaller than the other. All of a sudden a much larger one boldly stepped out of the woods towards the other two and when he did, the other two stepped back in the tree line and vanished!

The SFBI team, headed by Tom Biscardi, arrived in Hernshaw West Virginia to meet with Kris Allen early afternoon on Thursday, November 5th, 2009. We had driven straight through from Arizona. It was a drive of 1,960 plus miles, but well worth it.

When we got to Kris's home, he walked out to meet us and welcomed us inside. Kris took the time to introduce us to his family and showed us around his family home. After a short introduction, he shared some stories of his experiences in the local area with these elusive creatures. We made plans to go out into the local hills early the next morning.

After a short drive out into the beautiful Rush Creek area, Kris took us up into the hills to see where he had his last encounter while out four wheeling with his son.

Once there, we began to see physical signs left behind, from these creatures. Most of the signs we saw were older and and in poor shape, but still recognizable.

The environment was clearly suitable for any large omnivour. We found signs of bear, coyote, deer, beaver, and a multitude of other animals. There was abundent wild fruits, nuts, grasses, and other food sources.

Here we can see what the area was like... It was richly forested and had abundent water...

As we hiked, Tom Biscardi broke the team up into four parts. As Tom said; "...eight eyes will do better than two...". Eventually, we began finding signs of "our friends". We found scat, prints, and areas where we believe this creature might have been feeding. We took many photos and will need to do a lot more evaluation before we can post some of them. In the meantime, here are just a few of the things we saw up in these mountains...:

A large bear print... A possible foot print from a creature... and even a possible foot print from a baby creature?

There will be much more information posted about this remarkable area as soon as we get back to the office and have time to evaluate more of the amazing pictures we have captured. We are not able to share it all with you from the field, but I promis to share more as we process it... Until then, we should all keep on SEARCHING FOR BIGFOOT!
