JavaBob is a member of the Searching For Bigfoot team, and wrote this diary with the help of the other members of the team.

Introduction

Hi, my name is Bob “JavaBob ” Schmalzbach. I am a member of the Searching for Bigfoot Inc., team. Our team travels the country in search of the elusive creature, commonly referred to as “Bigfoot”. Although this creature has been called by many different names, it still remains “America’s King Kong”.

Whether you believe this creature exists or not, there is clearly enough data available to warrant a serious investigation into this mystery. This team and this corporation, founded by the world renowned Bigfoot Investigator Tom Biscardi, are dedicated to uncovering the facts surrounding this icon and sharing them with you. Sometimes, the things we uncover are more easily explained by more normal explanations. However, every once in a while we find things that are much harder to explain away.

The following is my overview of the first ever, winter expedition to capture proof positive that Bigfoot is a real entity. The Searching for Bigfoot team traveled over 11,000 miles in 40 days in search of the truth. The following synopsis represents my take of our experiences. It is just my personal input and may eventually be combined with other team member’s inputs to form a more general picture of our experiences on this history making adventure.
