Preparing for a Capture

After picking up the bones from the site near Texas, Tom Biscardi lead the Searching for Bigfoot Team back to Paris Texas to continue investigating the area and make preparations for a possible capture. Our local Associate Searching for Bigfoot Team Member, Mike, took us out in his boat to a part of the shoreline not easily accessible by foot. We traveled across the lake to a restricted area we had been given permission to explore for a short while. We unloaded our equipment and began a day long hike into the brush to look for possible nesting sites. We believe that the creature may be taking advantage of long abandoned ammo bunkers to use as shelter.

The area we were going to explore is very dense and hazardous. There were virtually no paths to follow and we had to “break brush” most of the way, while staying vigilant to watch for unexploded ordinance from years prior! It was hot and hard going, but we needed to do it. The forest is thick with thorns and briar patches, fire ants and spiders, snakes and even quick sand and mud bogs. Along with the possibility of blowing ourselves up, it made for a hard day for all of us.

This first picture warns of unexploded ordinance, the second a possible lair and the third the remains of old bunkers.

The team made its way through the brush looking for buried bunkers and caves using ground penetrating radar and metal detectors. We finally found some promising areas and marked them on our GPS units for future study.

Traveling into this forbidden world, we could hear something walking just out of sight in the bushes along side of us. It would walk when we walked and stop when we stopped. Two of the people on the team said they saw what looked like a light tan animal or man in the bush on several occasions, but the sighting was so fleeting that they could not make a positive identification. We also found what looked like foot prints on the forest floor. Recognizing foot prints in the leaf litter is very difficult and hard to discern, but here is a picture of what we saw;

We bring you what we see, as we see it. We cannot say with total authority as to what caused the depression in the leaf litter, but it is about 16 inches long and of the general shape of a foot. You will need to form your own opinion!

We found several old building sites and remains and marked them all by GPS points. We investigated the area thoroughly and found it to be rich in cover, water, and food items. Because this area is inaccessible by the general public and offers such good cover, food, and clean water, we believe this is the most probable of nesting areas we have found to date. We will be planning a return trip to devise a plan for a safe capture. We are in negotiations with the governing bodies of this restricted area now and should be returning within the next week or two to do some final planning.
